BHCC are excited to have been chosen by Zoom for testing of their ‘Zoom Mono (beta)‘.
As a result of feedback from Brighton and Hove Camera Club addressing:
- Picture quality during photo Critique Evenings
- Low Internet speeds
- Difficulties finding the Meeting Passcode
There is literally no reason to adjust your screen as the new Zoom software claims to ‘self-calibrate external monitors’ whilst presentations and all video feeds will be converted to a new advanced data-efficient ‘Blank and White’ format – a revolutionary process estimated to reduce data by 41% that first transforms colour images to Mono black and white, then applies loss-less compression algorithms to remove negative spaces in images.
We look forward to our next Members Evenings where we’ll be able to experience the improved Mono performance, whilst also overcoming technical difficulties typical of areas including Woodingdene and Shoreham.
