This has been Cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, totally unsuitable for macro-photography.
Al has been up to the location this morning and it was drizzling with rain, low cloud and strong winds. I saw only 9 butterflies (normally I would see hundreds on a sunny day here). None were feeding on flowers and none were basking with open wings. The forecast this afternoon is for stronger winds of 20mph and cloud. In these conditions it will be hard to find insects and harder to photograph them due to the plants and grasses they may be sitting on blowing about in the wind.
We may be able to arrange something for next week.
