The New Members Group got off to a great start on Thursday 19th September at the ‘Welcome’ evening. There were 24 new members, some of whom were completely new to photography through to others who are professional photographers. Everyone joined in the group discussions with great gusto, ably led by more longstanding members of the Camera Club.
The new members had been asked to bring along prints to share in their groups and the response was fantastic. The range of images was extraordinary and the quality was superb. It made Steve Boyle’s job of selecting images to talk about really easy and Steve did his usual perceptive, informative and witty commentary.
