Project Description
Firstly, the BHCC Committee would like to thank you for supporting and entering pictures for the clubs Hope Actually (HA) initiative. We had over 170 pictures submitted from over 40 members, which was very encouraging. It was great to see how widely the brief had been interpreted and how this gave us a really big selection of different pictures, so whether we are working with a local children’s hospital or a drug rehabilitation centre, we have something for all.
We met with the Tides Group (they manage the beach exhibition) last week on Zoom and picked out the best pictures from each submission for inclusion in the beach exhibition. The standards across all the photos submitted was really high, which means that every photographer that entered will have a picture in the beach exhibition. We had one entry just for HA where the photographer didn’t want their picture in the beach front exhibition, which is of course not a problem.
We will be using some of the displays to tell the thousands of people that visit the exhibition just what HA is about and how, if they would like to see our pictures on display in their charity / hospital / etc. to get in touch. Also, to fill all the spaces, there will be a few members with two pictures on display.
See below, a gallery of the images chosen for print.
