Happy New Year from BHCC.  We hope you enjoyed the Xmas period and are looking forward to continuing the 2020-21 season.

Here’s a brief summary of what’s coming up over the next month.  In addition to our usual Tuesday Nights and Monthly Thursdays, we’re trying to fill alternate Thursdays (i..e not clashing with NMG) to do some technical workshops.  Don’t miss Stella’s Photoshop and Ray’s Lightroom evenings, information below with more details provided in links.

Get in touch with any of the committee if you have ideas or suggestions.

Workshop: Taking Risks in Photography

Jerry Webb is one of the Club’s most exciting photographers.  He consistently produces work which is exciting to look at and which provokes strong emotional reactions.  He will lead this workshop about risk-taking as a way to achieve dynamism in photography.

Tuesday, 26th January

Talk by Carly Clarke – Social Documentary and Editorial Photographer Carly Clarke focuses on finding current social and political issues in society as well as those that may may otherwise go unnoticed. Storytelling through the voices of subjects she photographs is key to her work.
