September and October have flown past, with this week seeing October finish with our first Critique of the 2020-21 Season (tomorrow, Tuesday 27th October) and Colin Miller’s NMG Abstract Photography Workshop (Thursday 29th October).

Note there’s been a change to the programme, with a new speaker announced for the 24th replacing the second evening (Part 2) of the 2nd Critique which is now a single evening critique.

Tuesday, 3rd November
Talk by Benedict Brain ARPS – Photographer/Journalist/Editor. Benedict Brain was until 2018 the editor of the Digital Camera Magazine and writer of many in-depth features. Currently regular write with the column ‘The Art of Seeing’ for DCM.
Tuesday, 10th November
Talk by Seamus Murphy – documentary photographer Seamus Murphy presents work covering Afghanistan, Iran, the Palestinian territories, Iraq, Kenya, India, USA and more. His awards include four previous World Press Photo awards, a POYi and a W. Eugene Smith Memorial grant.


Tuesday, 17th November
Second Critique of the 2020-21 Season. Entries open Tuesday 3rd and close Sunday 15th of November.
Tuesday, 24th November
Talk by David Garthwaite – fine art photographer from Leeds in the UK specialising in B&W landscape architecture, portrait and product photography.
